Karen, your Ellie is a beauty,  I have a real soft spot for big dogs, I've got a Dogue De Bordeaux.   Doesn't their slobber end up in some interesting places??? imageimage

    Love this thread !

We have 3, very pampered pussy cats. And, two weeks ago, rescued/re-homed 2 male Degu's. These two little guys have completely stolen my heart,  they are just adorable creatures.

I dote on all my pets. As far as I'm concerned,  I am here to tend to their every whim. Even if that means getting up to open the back door to let them out,  despite the fact they have a perfectly functional cat flap in that same back door,  LOL !

Whats a Degu?  We have had dog flaps for nearly 20 years, and yes, some times they will stand at the patio door, to the conservatory where their dog flap is, well, are you going to open this or what!!!

pinklily- about the dog slobber-doesn't it just! I've had it in my hair, on my glasses, everywhere! Lol she shakes her head and everyone runs for cover. Sweetest temperament ever though so its worth all those slug trails, lol.

Made me laugh too Bee witched image, but that dog was so appealing, I felt so sorry for it!

I'm afraid I can't stand dog slobber, makes me feel sick, same with egg white.

We were talking a while ago on this thread about the things you put up with as a dog owner that would horrify "normal" people. Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and clench your teeth BL. image
