PP, why don't you go dog training with Wren,we still take our's even though they've done it all. The class is for the advanced but any can go because there's not a lot of dogs in it, you might find one like that. Does she come back when you call her?
sorry I had to resurrect this lovely thread and show you lotties sister !!! not often get a photo of lola but I've managed to catch a beauty - she was only nosey, wondering what lottie was up to. just to remind you , below is lottie x
Sorry Logan, I didn't see your message till just now. If I can find one locally I'll certainly go. She's all biz and has been beautifully trained to the gun but just not to me. I've taught her a few wee bits and pieces and she can now turn on the lamp using the button on the floor. All the sitting and staying and coming and going she's a master at but get off and stop stealing the chicken, where'd you get that sock, give me my sandwich back..... have a way to go yet A work in progress!
They're beautiful girls FR. I had a couple of little ferral cats a few years back. A lady near me rescues them and has them neutered at her own expense and the rehomes them to suitable homes. I left them food in the garage and they kept the mice away. It was a great arrangement. Sometimes Peter would come out and rub against me when I was leaving the food but the other little guy never really came round. On a very rare occasion he would walk under my hand...I couldn't call it a stroke but generally he watched me from up in the roofspace. We had old furniture and stuff up there and they slept there.
Don't tell the cruelty to dogs brigade but she has been known to throw up a pair of socks. Yes a pair! I was really worried because she's always swallowing them. One of these days.....
My mum looks after them while I'm at work and she's not just as quick on her feet as she was. Wren has eaten half of her sock drawer! If anyone knows where I can find fine brown socks I'd be very grateful. I get lectured every night when I call to pick them up on how difficult it is to find brown socks!!! I can find them... they get thrown up on the floor!!!
