I seem to remember some information gathering, and also some members went to the Intermediate Media offices in London and Bristol to answer questions, look at mock ups etc.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
oh I'm so sad, had a rough copuple of days and was sooo looking forward to a cosy check in, hate the new format, yes all I could see were ads too, like the site the way it was, I know there was the occasional problem but nothing wrong with format, font too big and gappy, screen glaring, my eyes are sore and I can't concentrate on the topics, please out it back, it'd be gutting for members to splinter off, if it ainn't broke don't fix it goes the saying, please gw admit error and return to previous format
David K, thank you for sharing the websites. I will check back here now and again but it is not for daily (every coffee break I had) use. Glaring has taken on a whole new meaning. My screen is 50% blank grey(as I have installed ad blocker), 40% blank white and 10% grey text

Can't agree with that, Darren.....no axe to grind here, but...... 'Allotments 4 All' is particularly strong and progressive. Haven't visited 'Garden World Discussions' for some time.
At least the format on both is less testing on the eyes.

No mobile phone Philippa? I thought I was the only person left in the UK not to have one ?
When I first joined the forum I was using Hubby's laptop but have been using a tablet since my lovely daughter got me a kindle for Christmas.
Was there a poll to see what devices we were all using? I must have missed it. ?

It was a relief to see the other websites.
Garden world on pro board is an absolute ghost town- not worth looking at.
Many other gardening forums are either completely deserted or populated by morons.
I'm still Stunned at how bad this new forum design is.
Its unbelievable.
I access the site from both desktop (iMac) and iPad.
Sorry tech team but it doesn't work well for me on either device ☹️

I didn't mention. Allotments 4 all, David.
As for the garden world , many of the most recent posts are from last year.
I'm also looking around for a new forum.
Gardeners corner looks OK so far.
