I liked the Hepatica man too, but I'm afraid I was so tired I fell asleep and missed some of the programme.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

You lot make me laugh.  I cant bear having fleas in the house. I start to,imagine them nipping at me when they are not there at all. (Like when you know your kids have come home from school, with nits - you can feel them all over you. )

On another subject, I've been wingeing all day about it being overcast and cold, and now going outside with HRH for her little walkies, it's so dark and black and brilliant with stars, it's unbelievable. To think if the clouds had only blown away thriugh the day, I would have had full sun and it could be as cloudy as it liked in the night. Grrrr!

We are watching something about where Cleopatra might be buried. I'm curious now, so will have to keep watching to see how the program ends.

    Afternoon all,

Fairy, I've tried to resize by right clicking on the phot and there isn't an option to resize.

Wonky I've had a go at resizing a picture using that site, it's a bit of a faff but here goes. Oh it said it had worked but the original picture is still in place, can't find a resized one in my photos.  Bit thick on the techy side.  Any idea where they go to once you have resized?

Sounds like a long trip Bushman but it's nice that you made the effort, so many people don't these days.

Used to sneak my dog into the bedroom when I was little, can't imagine what she used to bring in with her.  Yuk.  As an adult I've had 3 dogs and the only time they were allowed upstairs was for a bath.  As soon as they heard the word one would run up the stairs the other two would hide shivering under the nearest piece of furniture.

Haven't watched the Chelsea coverage from last night.  I suspect the Hepatic guy was the owner of my local nursery/garden centre (Ashwoods)  I had heard that he was going to take them to Chelsea this year. I've recorded it so will watch it later.

Off to sort out hanging baskets.

    Hi Yvie,

I'm not too hot on technology either, don't worry, image

I will Try and figure it out....um....

So you click on browse to get one of your pictures...

Then click continue and your picture should be visible,

Then scroll down and it will give you resizing options, I kept it as it was set, 50% smaller,

Scroll right to the bottom where there is a tab that says "I'm done, resize my picture" click this

This takes you to another page which gives you 4 choices of how you want to save your picture.

I used the bottom left one, save to disk.....not actual disk, just stores on your PC/tablet

This is the resizing completed. You should be able to find your image on your computer named rsz img not sure where you store your pictures but it should be in a file somewhere on your PC/tablet image

    Good luck! image

    Evening all.

    Dull and wet here today.

Weeding pots in the greenhouse, the Dahlias are nearly large enough to be planted out, so going to be very busy soon.

Still struggling to load photos, and, find the site often freezes, and refuses to let me write. Will it ever be sorted?

Has anyone seen Verdun, I know he has blocked me, but I hope he is ok.

How can you lie there and think of England

It is a pain Ppauper. I can only assume it depends on what device and operating system you use. I have Windows, so I can resize them in my library by right clicking on a photo and it adds the resized one. They both come up when you click the camera icon. I also find those image sizes tiny as well. It makes it tricky to see which one you want, if there's two or three similar ones image

If they'd just kept the option to use an external site it would have been fine - I could upload any size of photo that way.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I've had no difficulties with photos but I'm one of the lucky ones. I only use my wee old phone so the quality isn't great but at least the site can cope.

punkdoc I've found when trying to type a post that sometimes I'm merrily going along and the screen has stopped...or worse....it flicks about and loses the whole page and goes back to the forum page. It's ghastly!
