Maybe when I move " Stonehenge" I could create more of a bog garden there, ( it's a wee bit lower than the pond, so could easily act as an overflow ) and squeeze a few more Astilbes and Rodgersias in ??
if you are looking for something very colourful, with a little height, then Acer Pseudoplatanus brilliantissimum makes a great show in the springtime, and goes through more colour changes throughout the year, as in this one shown here http://www.fungus.me.uk/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=155
my supplier has just emailed. He doesn't do Liberty, ( plant breeders' rights ) but he might be able to spare me a H. Majesty which looks similarly wonderful.
