Darren - nut sent me some seeds last autumn. I sowed them in trays and left them outside all winter on the garden table.

There was nothing doing and I began to despair until 2 or 3 weeks ago when they started germinating en masse. Nut's right in the fact they're a plant that really does need the seasonal exposure treatment. I have too many seedlings now image

I always have too many seedlings Fishyimage

It's OK til they need individual pots then there's a space crisis. It's aquilegias this year. 10 pots of seeds was OK, then 20 pots of pricked out seedlings was manageable. 100s of individual pots and the GH and surrounding area will explodeimage

    and that's just the aquilegias

How fresh was the seed Darren? I had zero germination with devil's-bit scabious from bought seed but after sowing fresh seed straight from bought plants, I have seedlings.

Seeds were from a good source online.

A small but well regarded seller.

I don't now how old they were. But they looked OK.
