    First one for me arrived on the 16th, four days later than last year. So very thrilling!

  • i watched swallows flying over my brothers garden  in county down today.they always nest in his garage.

     hi all no not yet  seen a few finchs /red white and green finch looks like a take over bid with  black birds 2 males scrapping for garden  had a yound robbin last month  old hand chased him off  nice when you have a rest and sit out side  g/house with classic f m    might take sun lotion down  before  w/end

    First Swallow today in MidWales, lovely to see the first one. Plus big bonus a Brimstone butterfly feeding on primula vulgaris.

    No not seen yet but last week saw a woodpecker in the garden! First time I have seen in real life and last night I spotted first time this year the bats flying around at dusk image

    I saw my first Swifts this morning, I feel as if summer is here when they are back. It is wonderful to see these beautiful birds again.
