Looking good Nathalie. Leave the daffodils to die down for about 6 weeks, they will look a mess but they get their food from the dying leaves. If you cut them off too soon they won't flower next year.
In that shade bed you could plant Hostas, Pulmonaria, Brunnera, Aquilegia, Heuchera, Snowdrops. Have a look on Google or a garden centre that sells them.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
If the bed is always in shade the choice is limited for colour. Begonias are OK in shade. Busy-Lizzies are great but in the past few years the common ones have had a fungal disease. Most summer bedding likes sun and you replace it every year as they are annuals. The plants I mentioned are perennials, will come up every year, flower in spring and have attractive leaves afterwards. There is a great selection of hostas. Some of them have nice bell like flowers.

I love begonias, I had a few in my hanging basket last year and they were beautiful. I've ordered 2 hanging baskets the same this year as I loved them so much. Am I right in thinking if I plant some begonias they will last through the summer? Will they grow quite big? Also will they come back every year?
There are different sorts. Bedding ones are quite short, there are big ones with big flowers and trailing ones and quite a big one called Dragon's Wing. They are not frost proof so you have to dig up the big ones and store them. The little bedding ones you buy each year, not expensive. They will all flower right through the summer.

Bit more progress, not sure what to plant here as the sun doesn't get there
She'd progress so far

They are spring flowering but have attractive leaves. Heucheras come in many colours and Brunnera comes in various frosted looks.
