I really enjoyed this weeks GW. I think that the content is much better these days. It's relevant, fun and interesting.

    The woofs are brilliant too.

    A pleasure to watch.

But Dove, it is a Scottish program, that many of us soft southerners seem to have taken to our hearts.

Btw, for me, anything I post here on the subject is purely light-hearted banter. I would happily (in the unlikely event) share a pint with Mr D at my local.....perhaps enlighten him where he's going wrong? image

Of course, but that's still it's Unique Selling Point and the producers and directors make the most of it image

I find it interesting how many people on here, actively spend the whole programme, looking for things to criticise.

If you don't like it [ him ], then don't watch it.

I agree.  Whenever JS appears I switch over and keep flicking back in the hope that he's gone.!!

For me, we need for more gardening programmes, what ever the content is purely gardening or some gimmicks if they deemed required. Apart from GW most of the other gardening programmes seem to concentrate more on the landscaping works than the soft scaping . Sky tv use to have a programme designated entirely on gardening but that was removed years ago.

When you consider that gardening is the biggest leisure time activity in this country you would think the media coverage would be a lot greater and diverse.

Think you'd be wrong David image  We respect each other's point of view - we often disagree about something but have never had an argument in over 20 years image

I can vouch for that Dove and we follow that example here in the womble household, although we are a bit more feisty with six arguments in nearly seventeen years image live and let live! He has his music, I have my garden, don't try to convert one another! image

I love Monty, Nigel, Nell and the Robin.... Calm, informative viewing and very enjoyable. I don't get on with beachgrove, therefore I don't watch it, everyone that does, I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, but on the whole, more gardening shows needed, not makeover shows! There's room for everyone in the garden! image
