Dove from above that is the company I had them from

I have had nothing but superb service from Taylors - please contact them immediately - I'm sure they'll sort the problem out .

If customers don't let them know that their delivery companies aren't performing properly there's nothing they can do.

  • Hi. crocus.co.uk are very good quality, but I find them expensive. GW subscribers get 10% off.

I use them a few times a year for plants I can't find locally/specific varieties I want. I've had them cancel a couple of plants off my order in the past because they 'failed their quality check before despatch' which is probably a good sign of their own QC process.

They seriously over-package them so they arrive in perfect condition, you just have to spend the rest of the day unpacking them. If you live anywhere near them (GU20) you can click and collect.

    I have emailed them

I am aware that delivery companies leave a lot to be desired but the plants I received bear no likeness to the images they have on their site of the quality of plants.

I have taken some photo's will take more.

I will update on their reply.

I can also vouch for Taylors - have used them half a dozen times and plants have always been superb quality.

Once they sent the wrong variety (bad handwriting meant Mary Rose got mixed up with Margorie - you have to write it in curly script to see whyimage) - but they immediately sent a replacement with no charge, and let me keep Margorie, who is now flourishing, to bootimage Top firmimageimageimage

It's because of reviews like yours that I used them after lots of looking.

All the more reason to let them know it was no where near their standards.

Some are very good, especially the specialist surgeries. The ones that give bright pictures of plants that neither flower nor live together are frequently a waste of money.

Of course you do - you're supposed to!  As long as you don't expect your flowers or veggies to look exactly like that!   Some of the filters used must be very expensive to make colours appear as they do.
