Will be watching despite having lost every clematis I have planted within a couple of years, I refuse to give up and keep buying more. The latest is "Celebration" and have decided this will be my last if fails to thrive. Hubby reckons it is just cruel to keep on.
Two of the clematis plugs are good, one is a slower starter and the last hasn't done anything yet .... I think they are from Gsy. Jinxy - from Raymond Evison the Gold award winning Clematis grower.
Aah .... thank you - I realised after I'd left the question that it should've been Guernsey - I just wondered if it was the same offer that I'd sent for ........
The offer was in G.W Jinxy - 4 plug clematis for £5.99 - Guernsey clematis sell for between £10 - £20 here in the G.C. so I thought I would give these a go - nothing ventured and all that ..... I received them about 4 weeks ago now.
Yes Guernsey Donkey2...... it was a GW offer that I sent for but from a different nursery I think, I've not received them yet - that's why I was wondering where yours were from and how they were doing

What are the particular problems you have MsGF? If you give some details on a new, separate thread, you'l get help and advice with them

I will be watching tonight with interest. Got 4 new clematis plugs a few weeks back so any information will be useful.
Were these from Jersey by any chance Guernsey Donkey2? What are they like, if you don't mind my asking?
