After two days of apalling weather (driving rain and strong winds) it is drying up nicely today and the rain has stopped.  Grey sky is brightening as we speak.  (Kingswinford, west of Dudley)

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • I think we had the same band of weather Yviestevie - after gale force 9 to 10 winds and barely able to stand up in it yesterday - all is calm but not bright - overcast and no wind here today. Our neighbours lovely tree came down yesterday - we are fortunate  that our trees are still standing.

Started with bright blue sky but cloud had rolled in by mid morning so has been grey since. It felt quite cold in the easterly wind but not nearly as bad as yesterday. Pressure has been rising.

Hello ,Lincoln ,  it rained all day yesterday and didn't stop until lunch time today

Ground saturated and a lot of water going down stream at side of garden , drove yo another village today and went over The Witham , very high

All the drainage ditches are nearly full , so good job it stopped , forecast for next few days is good and dry , so hoping to get outside

In fact it has turned into a pleasant evening image

Heavy frosts, clear skies, bright sun but mist in the paddocks and along the streams.  Should warm up later.
