Hi Hazel, we've fiddled with the sound settings and switched Dynamic Bass on, whatever that does.  We shall wait and see - watching Timeteam at the moment. image

I'm watching Terry Wogan in Harrogate. He's been to Bettys. My niece had part of her hen party weekend there in a private room upstairs. All the old relatives had afternoon tea with the youngsters, then we oldies  had a quiet evening while the youngsters went out clubbing, then  the turkish baths next day.

  • GWRS I will wave as you pass by up/down the Solent.

Been a busy day in the garden cleared four of the old herbaceous borders had a huge bonfire for all the rubbish, hope to rotavate tomorrow and get some life back into them.

Tonight will sit down with scotch or two and start to plan the layout and order some plants.

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Hope your mum is ok. Always a bit of a worry isn't it?

Have a nice holiday GWRS. Hope your weather is decent.  I should really book some time off next month. Get a bit more walking in.

Have had phone calls from the Lovely Home and Bro - the doc thinks she's dehydrated due to the tummy troubles - it's always difficult to get her to drink enough as she worries about inco...........   well, you know what. image  and she can be very stubborn.

She's on Dioralyte and they're keeping a fluids chart  - Bro says she does look poorly, but I'm sure she'll perk up when they get her fluid levels up  - I had already planned to see her tomorrow so I'll go and take her some flowers.  No point in chocolate eggs if her tummy is already upset.

Nice to chat to DD at the Open Garden meeting. Glad the cakes were delicious, I made one of them! Open Gardens is really getting going in France it seems, more organised too. Wish their website was a bit quicker though, but it's being sorted just not yet.

I hope Ma picks up soon Dove.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
