Evening all just back from the vets with Flatters, it would appear that he either has lost his heavyweight title and came badly off in a fight or more likely made an over ambitious leap for a pigeon on a roof and dangled for a While, injuring front paw and claws and back right led also, I'm sure he pulled of the landing with style and grace as ever!
Kef, can't believe anyone could kick a cat? Although some of the threads on here do show some unpleasantness towards cats but it does earn Hosta a few quid glad your cat made a recovery, sometimes its worth waiting a little while, Flatters is certainly much improved and has pain killers and antibiotics for suspected infection in his front paw, thanks for the hugs and concern Kef, BusyL, Runny and Dove
Big hugs to Chicky, hope you had a lovely day with birthday Chicklet! hope doctors sort Mr Chicky pronto! X
Glad ma Lirio is well and settled, nice for you to have some company for the journey
Hello to absolutely everyone, sorry I've been AWOL, tablet had virus issues again and been working long hours! here's to a lovely weekend for us all full of sunshine and gardening! x
Baby grandsons are in bed, the smallest cried a bit. They don't have any cuddly toys, (DIL's choice) my other 7 grandchildren have cots and beds full of them. My son certainly had them.
RB - my dog is Tigger. I think he is perking up a bit with the antibiotics, hope it's just a chest infection.
Love RB's fairy.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That must be a relief about flatters. Glad he wasn't run over.
That was shocking about KEF's Mum's cat. How could anyone do that?
My cat was the kitten of a stray, but I got her when she was about 4 months old, a little spitting and hissing creature. She's still a bit wild but fairly friendly now. She's 11.

BusyL it sounds like Tigger is made of strong stuff! glad the antibiotics are helping him improve, I'm sure he will milk lots of fuss and treats from you
I've just checked on Flatters who jumped down from a high wall shouting "painkillers are fabulous!" think he's on the mend! Never mind worrying me to death and costing me money! we are softies for our pets though aren't we and I know our family isn't complete without them
On a train home after a lovely, lovely day . Champagne lunch, bit of a wander round Nottingham's gorgeous streets, tea and cake (with candles .....of course), another wander, round the arboretum this time, then back to the station. Well worth the journey. Sitting here reading gardeningmags, and noodling on the forum, letting the train take the strain

Hi Everyone.....
Not been around as had certain things to deal with.
"Hope All are Safe and Well"??
Sorry but I can't possibly catch up on all that's been going on, but I hope your all ok?
Just watched the Second of Monty Dons new season on telly But I just don't get everyone that's working around him, for some reason.
Not the same for me, I'm afraid.
Edd
I've just came back after weeks away and read your post first.
Seems, your Still Daftt as a Brush!
Ed, Jo47, female, said she was leaving and I think she did.
Glad you and Chicklet had a lovely day Chicky.
