Did lots in the garden yesterday, looks so much better. Unfortunately grass still to wet to cut. Hopefully if it stays dry might be able to do it at the weekend.
Larry was a boxer......Larry Folry in the 1890s
Sandboy....perhaps a little boy playing in the sand????
Dog with 2 tails?? What about pigs in s**t
Hope all poorly peeps are feeling better.
My friend is now 'home' her funeral is 5th April. Delay because she died aboard.
Afternoon all, Have been thinning out seeds and washing baby clothes ready for secondborn's hospital bag this morning while she is at work. Only 5 weeks to go now so need to be ready.
Have some plug plants to pot up this afternoon. Have more seeds to sow but that might have to wait until another day.
Back from tennis - 5 good sets so I'm feeling 's t r e t c h e d'
While I was at tennis the new tv was delivered - it's great - a bigger picture than before so GW and Wimbledon will be even more enjoyable. The sound's a bit tinny but much better than the muzziness of the last tv and of course much much better than the high-pitched buzz it had developed recently. We'll probably get a sound bar for it later in the year.
I also had a phone call from The Lovely Home - apparently Ma's a bit poorly - upset innards for a few days and not settling so they're calling the GP. Ma's spending most of the time asleep in bed. Bro is visiting her this afternoon so I'll go tomorrow.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hello everyone. I've been off the air today, so firstly, happy birthday Flumpy. Hope you are having accord day.
Dove, I'm very relieved that the parcel arrived. I was beginning to wonder if it had gone astray. It's 2 weeks today since it was posted.
have seen the various news casts about the bombings in Belgium. When will it end? It's horrible to think about.
we had 1 degree this morning, so it won't be long before the winter sheets will be put on the bed and my thermal underwear is aired. Hubby climbed up onto the roof yesterday and cleaned the chimney, getting ready for the season of burning wood to warm the house up. So much for Autumn, it's already seeming like winter has started.
Cant remember everyone's posts, but enjoyed reading back. Hope you Mum is OK Dove. I sympathise with tummy troubles after the fun and games I've had this past year.
I'd better get to sleep. It's very late.(nearly 3 am. )Goodness knows what is going on here.
