Guests again (buying a puppy from a local dog breeder, she is the National Champion) and more again tonight. I get a rest tomorrow (from guests anyway) but full for the week-end and following week. I am however, going on holiday on the 7th April - for a week - on my own - freedom- hurrah! image

Also going to a garden meeting this afternoon about our Open Garden Day, will see Bizzie Lizzie there too - and we get cake. image image

Have a good day all. image

    Hi all.

Cold and grey for a change, might move to Cornwall.

Dentist and doctors this morning, then might get out into the garden, desperately need more room in the greenhouse.

    Have a good day.

Morning all. Grey and very still here.

I gave up at 20.40 last night and went to bed. I seemed to sleep most of the night for a change.

Chores today to take me out of the house and away from the garden, gggrrrr.

    Who was Uncle Tom Cobbley?

    And which Uncle was Bob?

Cold and grey and a bit murky after a very clear night with a big bright moon as we came home from Soul class last night.   Roads almost empty last night and most of our class stayed at home to be safe and no doubt check on family and friends.   Mobile phone networks were jammed yesterday so it was hard to check personal contacts.

Today I have patchwork class homework to do then ceiling painting and then a raid on the supermarket as it's rum night at Salsa this evening and I make the cakes and savoury nibbles.  Patchwork class tomorrow.

Gardening on Friday as we have trellis fence posts to set in concrete and then trellis to fix and climbing roses and clems to prune and tie in as well as all the usual spring weeding and feeding and dividing and scarifying and shed painting and bringing pots out of winter shelter and into the daylight and............

Oooh Congratulations Flumpy!!! image  Have a lovely day image

Hosta, Ma had an Uncle Tom - I always thought he was Uncle Tom Cobley - especially as we had an illustration of the song and all the verses on the wall above Pa's desk.

Many years ago I rode to Widdecombe - but on a skewbald mare called Dinah, not a grey one image
