Good morning it's a corker here!

almost completely "to do" list before we head off on Wed. How is it I am always rushed before a holiday?

oh desperate for a new tv. Apparently we are unusual at keeping one 9 yearsimage

Go for 3D Dove.  Sport is fantastic image

We'll get an HD one, think 3D is a step too far for us.

Hosta - the old tv used to belong to my Aged Ps - when they moved into the Lovely Home it was too big for their room so we got them a smaller one and we had this one.

Before this one, the only tv we had was a 14" portable - if we go up to a 40" that'll be huge for us!

"Millions of low-paid workers who put aside savings could receive a top-up of up to £1,200 over four years, the government has announced.

Employees on in-work benefits, such as tax credits, who put aside £50 a month would receive a bonus of 50% after two years - worth up to £600."

I'm sure the low paid are thrilled by this proposal.?????

How much can one save when on a zero hours, minimum wage contract and paying punitive rent?

The word " gimmick" springs to mind.

Fairy image  I was thinking of binding the pot tightly with wire to try to stop the crack from opening up when we re-pot the fig - but if it does, do you think this would do the trick?

Verdun, according to the  new system, if you can feed yourself:

" put food in your mouth without being helped"

    and communicate:

" call for help in an emergency"

then you're " fit for work"

Hosta, the tories can do what they like now...the further cutting of disability benefits seems very harsh. Surely the fraudsters have been weeded out now so it is the genuinely disabled who are affected. The "fifth richest country in the world"?  So why are we cutting to the bone? ...

JL will give a trade in when you're buying the higher end tvs Verdun, but not on a 20 year old tv when you're spending under £350.  image
