You're the adult rosemummy - so  your decisions are what counts. Take a big breath, go for it.... and see what happens   image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Surprised myself by actually really enjoying it as I am not a huge Monty fan. But yes nice to see restrained budgets and very difficult plots to work with just shows what you can do ! I have tried to make a bee friendly garden opposite hives at my place of work but chose a plot based almost entirely on dock and nettles with huge rocks. Happy to say it is getting there !! Juts gotta keep hacking the weeds back out of it image Looking forward to more Big dreams next thursday

  • Even my wife enjoyed it and put it on series link.

I prefer programs more talk about plants than vegetables but know they need to cater for everyone's passions.
  • Must be the odd one out, we didn't like it that much. Hope the next  are better for us.image

Thought it was good as entertainment,  but does everyone have almost 3.000.00 to spend on the garden, lots here have said it was a realistic price, I have to wait for seeds and cuttings  to furnish my garden,

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • Really thought if you want an allotment plot you would do it yourself - that is the joy of it - ok Monty only helped a bit with it, that woman thinks to much before she does things

Lyn I buy plants but then also do cuttings and sow from seed (seed sowing is the best) trying to grow most things for my allotment plot from seed

I'd give it a thumbs up apart from MD saying " the only way to get rid of ground elder is to dig out every bit of root " which is factually inaccurate.
