Someone on the site brought in a caravan old ish one - I saw it and thought that would make a nice shed as they normally have a table and two seats/ settes either side - went on a drive by to see where it was it was just parked up in a car park bit
Then on Tuesday this week saw bark chipping vans so went to see if they had left anything only to find them on someones plot, then noticed the caravan parked up as a shed - think new plot holder will have to see if we can have a nose inside - but great idea - instant shed and sometimes they have a gas cooker inside - wish I had one to do that but would of been trick to get to my plot though others
Dont think our council would allow caravans, great idea though, especially when it rains!
Only spent and hour at the plot yesterday, had a toothache and kept getting rained on, so gave up. Did a little bit digging and planting, soil is so much better now than it was when I took on the plot which is great!
went to the local nursery to buy some onion sets, forgot to get them and came back with garlic, cabbage plugs and leeks, plus about £50 worth of new plants for the garden!!
Ginagibbs , yes thank you , we went to Tenby , nice and sunny , first week 15 degrees , secound week temperature slowly dropping down to 5 , blooming cold
Also met up with relatives first week , have been there lots of times
I guess they got permission from Council for the caravan like the idea though
Ginagibbs hope toothake goes away bonjela helps soothe pain, rain keeps coming hard to do the shed then, good lot of new plants did they all jump into your basket
Today went and took apart a pallet well 2 which was 3metres wide, wood not that easy to get off got quite a few bits of wood which are now used to help keep tarpaulin up on shed roof
It was a different place they also had pallets 7 metres long by 2 metres wide huge, also manage to get some plastic sheets small bits will see where I can use it - Also someone else turned up and we found out they were from an allotment not far away, going to use the pallet bits to put fence around his plot
GWRS not fair camping stove is what I will need for the shed, will you get a new one? temputure did change to cold when we hit November was warm till then

Will only be able to go to the allotment at weekends now, got a list of winter jobs to keep me busy though.
Monty Don is giving a talk in Preston next weekend, couldn't get descent tickets though the ones left were on row w...
Thanks Zoomer till they are dried out think, enjoy the talk
Been to the allotment today added some horse manure after digging yesterday as bit cold to do the shed.
Dug in the manure as going to sow broad beans in that area will do that this week also added some paths with bark chipping
Harvested a nice load of potatoes yesterday and had cottage pie for dinner was yummy
next door plot has re done his bark chipping paths with new weed matting under looks good - can smell the conifer tree bits
Hello everybody , back off hols , have a long list of things I want to do , should keep me busy over the winter
Rosemummy , fire tips - I found putting stuff on a pallet off the ground help to dry things out
If you can get a fire bin it does seem to help
Using fire lighters rapped in news paper seems to help as well
We did take a loaf of stuff to tip when we started as there was so much , best of luck
