GWRS - Topbird has described them perfectly. We eat our pancakes in the same way you'd have scones - with a cuppa! They're particularly good if they're still warm
I used to make them on a barbecue I had - it had a solid hotplate. The girls' friends used to come round on nice days in the summer when I had a batch on the go!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
What kind of nonstick is it? (If it's just stainless steel, that's not non-stick no matter what the manufacturer says, in my experience.) Is it scratched? Old? Have you used detergent to clean it? (You shouldn't.) With nonstick you should rub a bit of oil into it from time to time to keep it in good condition.
It was from Tesco, it's white on the inside, it said non stick on the box, I've no oil so having to use butter, anyway second one as turned out better ha, wish me luck on the third : )

I should think that counts as 12!

Fingers crossed, then!
I find that the first pancake is never great, perhaps it's because the pan has to heat up evenly or something like that.
Now I'm hungry!
I'd better buy some milk and make pancakes tomorrow.
Yeah, rub it in!
