I'm well, thanks, everyone who asked. I just have to be careful what I eat otherwise it all goes haywire again. My BIL had a similar problem (he's in QLD). They had a trip to SE Asia several months ago and he has been sick ever since. My SIL said she can give him a meal in the evening and everything is fine, then if she gives it again for lunch the next day, he gets it back . There's no working it out.
im not sure what is happening to my notifications on this site. I have to check in before I can get them.
We had a great day today (yesterday now). The Garden Paintings Exhibition was lovely, some fantastic paintings, but lots of people. We had to make an appointment from the website, 2.30pm. First we met Matty and her OH at Brasserie Zedel in Piccadilly, that Dove recommended. Delicious food, huge place but great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Thank you, Dove Got back to Norfolk rather late as the train tickets were very expensive before 9pm. We had tea, rather hot chocolate, with Mr and Mrs Matty after the Royal Academy. Then they left and we wandered about, went to Covent Garden and looked at shops and stalls and a juggler.
Thank you Dove, Lesley, Fairygirl and DD. You all read my post, which I've put on again because it got stuck several pages back behind Pat and those who couldn't sleep!
I had wanted Dove to see that we really enjoyed the Brasserie because she recommended it. Really good choice and very near the Royal Academy.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Sounds a lovely day Lizzie .....that brasserie has gone in my little black book for future reference. I love "just wandering" in London .... especially round CG
I'm putting my faith in the weather forecast Nanny B .....but will wear a raincoat just in case
Perhaps the rugby will cheer you up. It's a rubbish time of year really - no chance of proper gardening up here but at least tomorrow is supposed to be lovely day. Stay tucked up
Pat - isn't that what they just had in America or have I somehow missed that?
Enjoy your walk chicky
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Have you all seen the news about the weather predicted in north east USA? It sounds pretty dire. They're expecting up to 3ft snow in some areas.
