Dove that sound lovely (not the Hoover) I mean the food mmmmm : )
  • Morning All,

Been AWOL for a couple of days, just so busy, we have had two soundproof walls built between bedrooms and although the builder has done his best to work tidily the dust has managed to get everywhere. The power steamer is coming out today once he has finished the last few bits. image

Also went on a 'girls night out' on Thursday - the first time since we have lived in France. We went for a nice meal and then to the pictures and a drink afterwards, it was really lovely, although OH was not too pleased when I came in after 11pm - made me feel a bit like Cinderella. image Next time I will make sure I am out until after midnight - that will teach him a lesson. imageimage

Sorry to hear you are still ill Punkdoc.image

Your night out in London sounded lovely Lizzie, you won't want to be coming back to France will you! image

Tea and toast sounds like a super idea Dove, think I'll join you all.image image

Have a good day everyone, I will try and read back and see what else I have missed. image

Missed your last post there Lesley - walking tomorrow as it's to be a good day. Haven't decided where yet. Don't fancy wading through the thigh deep stuff - knee high's hard enough.  At least on the popular hills you usually get someone else's footsteps to follow! Possibly Glen Fyne or some of the lower hills at Glen Luss. image

    Hoover needed here too.....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning all. Not been here for a few months. I'm on holiday at the moment, its 6.10pm in Japan. Wrong time of year for garden visits really bit will put a few pictures on gardens visited thread when I get back home on sun/Mon. Just lucky enough to catch the earliest hint of blossom in Tokyo - plum as its too early for the cherry blossom.

Hope you are all well and I'll catch up in a few days.

  • Hello Mrs Garden - good to see you image  Hope you're having a lovely time!

LillyP - the potatoes are rosy, like apples (well, according to the picture on the website they are - I'll let you know when I've seen them)

Morning allimage. Good to see you MrsG - looking forward to Japanese garden picsimage

Have checked the weather forecast and although it is persisting here, its meant to be better on the south coast, so our trip to West Dean (snowdrop and hellebore spotting) is on.  We would be going for a walk here anyway - so may as well walk in the rain and have something to look atimage.
