Hi Pat - have you been having the high temperatures predicted?  You must spend as much on cooling the house as we have on heating itimage.  It's time to put my head down so I'll see you later.

Yes we have been having the high temps. I'd love  some rain  to cool things down and water the garden. Re the cost of electricity, we had solar panels installed a few years ago and that usually reduces the bill by about a third, so I don't hesitate to use the air con if I'm hot. image

Have a good sleep.  I've not long woken up.

You're welcome to some of our rain Pat. ( Morning by the way ) Hubby was talking to a chap earlier, late 60s, Devon born and bred, lived here all his life and said he's never known a winter where it just rained and rained and rained.

I want to get stuff dug up , but the ground is so waterlogged , I daren't walk on it.

I'm not surprised Hosta about that observation. Our weather has been strange as well.

i went out a while ago to change the soaker host, and the water coming out is boiling. Not sure how the plants will cope, but it only oozes out, so might be OK.

Morning Doveimage  Also meant to say that I had a look round the Secret Garden last night - it has a nice feel to It.  Is that the sort of thing to expect from the re-launch?

  • I know - there's a lot of talking been happening ...
