That's shockingly awake Hosta! I have so many plans for the garden; they just keep changing! Now with 7 metres of garage to hide I'm busy changing it all again...
Wonky: its nice to have the option to drive even if you don't have too. Two hours on a bus is awful: that's why I don't get the bus to work. It would for me be a ten minute walk, an hour and a half on the bus, and a twenty minute walk... or 45 minutes in he car (30 on a good day). No contest.
I have a huge to do list to try and get through today... I'm thinking it would be easier to just loose the list.
Morning all. Foggy. Must go and buy a new shower head, it fell apart in the middle of my shower. Had crumpets for brekkies. We brought them back from England, they don't do them in France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Just back from French class, it was a bit tough today, my teacher insisted I move to the advance class and I had to use my brain way too much for a Monday morning.
Charlie still on half term (2 weeks here) and has a friend over for the day, perfect excuse for me to bake a cake. Undecided between Victoria Sponge (my home- made jam just sets it off perfectly) or Lemon drizzle cake, choices, choices.
I am teaching for an hour this afternoon, a private lesson, my first one, I am toying with the idea of setting up an English Language school, just trying to gauge the demand at the moment. we'll see how it goes.
Choir practice tonight to so a busy day. The electric company are digging up my driveway too, apparently we are having an underground supply rather than the poles that blow over in the wind. I hope they finish it before I need to drive out again, although it is close to lunchtime now so they will be downing tools for 2 hours for lunch in a minute.
Pleased to hear you slept ok Hosta, hopefully a little bit of routine will help.
Lizzie, I could do with a new shower head whilst your out, ours sprays everywhere except me. Love crumpets but really miss Hot Cross Buns.
WW - time to start saving for a car, just think how much more gardening you could get done with all that time you'll save.
Have a good day all, Oh and Clari, I hope you get paid today, you really need to sort your boss out!

Hi Pat, thanks
that fruit looks fantastic! I don't normally do breakfast but with that I could be tempted!

one thing at a time Clari.
I'm so lucky, Waitrose is only 1.5m from my door so the shorted commute I've ever had.
Tee hee. The recycling lorry has just arrived . I can just imagine the conversation:
" where are all the beer and wine bottles, and what's with the diet lemonade all of a sudden?"

Just taken hubby a cuppa in bed. That doesn't happen often.
