Thanks Joyce. Funnily enough, we didn't realise thevGrevillea would get so big, but haven't bothered to prune it. It really doesn't matter where it is.
Good morning Pat. I did nod off eventually and have shamefully just got up now. I am on holiday luckily because l work in a school and its now thankfully half term YAY?. I do have a lot of bulbs to plant this week, firework alliums, honeybell alliums, camassias and tulips. However it is persisting down, much needed though so maybe tomorrow . If it stops I'll post a photo of my purple clematis putting on a lovely second show.
Here are a few photos taken yesterday. Still plenty of colour in the garden. I'm still having to water the plants regularly as rain has been in short supply this month.
They are lovely Yvie, what a lot you still have out. My dahlias are now frosted and I will be digging up the ones in pots to make way for spring bedding in the next couple of days.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
What a colourful display you can still enjoy in your garden Yvie, love those autumn colours on the ivy and acers. We are still watering our pots too, and feeding the pots where there are still buds forming or opening.Chrysanthemums and Gerbera
GD, lovely colours! Interestingly, Chrysanths are considered to be a Mothers Day flower in Australia, and guess when our Mothers Day is -May - just when they're flowering here. I used to grow Gerbera when I lived in Darwin. I had a lovely two-toned orange one.

Yes, thanks Busyl. I'm also realisitic enough to admit defeat on some things, although where I can, I'll try to do the right thing.
Pat...your spring flowers are a cheery start to our mornings
Like the Grevillea and Iris combination.
