Lol, I thought Graham had a fish flood.image

Lily, did you get to drink all the wine out of the boxes before artfully arranging them?

Lovely gardens everyone. Mine is all bashed down by rain. Every year I put in more  plant scaffolding. Every year something goes over. The banana seems to be loving the rain though.

Fairy - what are the tiny white flowers in first pic?.  I love Hakonechloa   (it is so tactile)  but today I caught two baby squirrels pulling bits of it image

Ideal day for a walk on Saturday.

They're on that golden Libertia in front of the Phormium, Joyce. First time it's flowered. I will have to chop the phormium back a bit to give it a bit more  room. It's really too small a space for them both, but I like the  contrast of foliage  image

Looking good for tomorrow. Heading east of Fort Bill to Loch Treig - bit of a roundabout route via Spean Bridge/Roy Bridge to get there though!  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    imageimageLovely garden photos everyone.

My front border in the cottage in Norfolk has grown while we've been in France. Photos are April and yesterday. There is a lot of bindweed, been treating it with Round Up gel.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

What a difference in just a couple of months BL! Looking very established and pretty already.

Hope you can keep the bindweed at bay though image

    Hear hear, Fairy.

BL, it looks lovely And I assume the plants will continue to look after themselves while you're away. Great planning.image

Lovely border Busy-Lizzie, I don't know how you manage to keep 2 gardens looking so immaculate especially given the size of your home garden in France. I can't even keep on top of a mere 90ft garden!

Ive been a bit more relaxed with my gardening this year, not being as tidy as I normally am. Ive purposely let the lawn grow in areas for wildlife, and generally just let things be themselves. Though I do need to weed the patio paving.

Heres a few photos, some plants are clearly going over, some yet to come...

Thank you. Those plants can manage without being watered all the time, at least, that's the idea! I'm a bit of a plantaholic and garden nut and now I'm not horse riding any more I have more time for the garden.
