Sorry Nanniemo - I've just noticed my post has a bit missing - I'm having probs with the mouse. It should have said ' I'm not a ROSE lover'....apologies for my unintentional odd comment!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
just catching up on all your kind comments, so thank you.
This week has been full on making sure we are up together for 30 visitors from the Netherlands coming Saturday to look at the garden, plus plenty of tea and cake.
nanniemo lovely to see other garden designs and planting combinations, beautiful.
Thank you Gloves n Wellies, I really can't recall which rose it is. I love roses Fairygirl, I have a rose bed just to the right of the arch with 6 of David Austin's cottage rose in it & 4 other roses dotted around the garden.

The rose on the arch is simply glorious.
Thank you Joyce21, I wish I could remember what it was, but I can't find the label and my memory is not what it was!
Nanniemo - I'm not a lover, but that's superb. It must give you a lot of pleasure
- and it's also a great example of a suitable, sturdy support for climbers
Like your path too

Best of luck with that Joybell. I'm always in awe of people opening their gardens up to others!
Hope the weather's kind to you and the visitors enjoy it. I'm sure they will
