    Not sure why they're not more widely grown GD. Lovely little plants and no problems with them. I love the seedheads

    They're Fritillaria imperialis, hollie, crown imperials.

    I always thought snakesheads liked it damp hefty but today foundone blooming in the driest, poorest soil you can imagine. 

    Whiat are the scented daffs Hollie?

    I like the scented ones. I had some called Sweetness but after the first couple of years they were just leavesimage

    'Cheerfulness' is lovely nut. There's a yellow version of it which is quite a subtle yellow. Nice scent  image

    Thanks Fairy. I'm going to get a new supply this autumn, I'll add that to the list. It it reliable. I like reliable, February Gold, Jetfire, they never let me downimage
