Im also using it as a guide for my planned pond. I was planning one in the corner of the garden but I'm now liking the idea of having a circular one in the centre of the garden, about the same size as the circular lawn patch. I'll be removing the remainder of the grass and turning it all to planting.
Just had a break from weeding and been catching up on my favourite thread. All your gardens look so so beautiful, I am quite envious. I cant wait till next year for my new beds to be more established. All of yours give me so much inspiration, thank you
Is this the thread where Busy lizzie's gravel bed is? What a difference between April and now. It's fab and all she did was go away and leave it! Oh and plan it and plant it of course!

A frequent visitor to my garden, surprisingly unafraid!
Perki what'd you cut the edge of that lawn with? Nail scissors?
Lovely planting.
Not quite nail scissors PP
I do use normal scissors sometimes
but most of the time edging shears.
.......and a laser?
Cracking job!
Beautiful planting Perki, your borders look very full, clever to get so much flowering together
That photograph would make a nice portrait for a wall Doghouse R
Nice story too.
They're too bold unfortunately Alan!
Great pix again.
Pond sounds a good idea LF. Look forward to seeing it
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I'd love to see an update of your new plot BM. It looked really promising with lots of lovely areas
