To be honest Verdun I'm not sure which variety it is. A local school was having an extension built over a planted border and they were happy for me to take a few plants rather than them being destroyed by the builders.
Along with the persicaria I saved some geraniums, giant scabious which I've grown many more from by collecting seed, and a lovely Ligularia przewalskii which sadly didn't reappear this year so I assume it is dead!
Giddy123, your border is beautifully colourful, I love the contrast between the flowers and your pristine brown fence. Fairygirl, your cupanis put my sweet peas to shame.
This pot was found in the garage, and a few of the poorliest sin bin plants were thrown in. And what a surprise - a waterfall of lobelia and petunias!
I'm also pleased with my hanging baskets - they're not great, but a lot better than my first dismal attempts last year.
Begonias brightening a shady, weedy spot -
And dying lobelia trailing over the wall, with lavender. This was very pretty a few weeks ago!

Garden looks gorgeous as always LF. Very rich and lush. Love seeing pix of it
I have a white Pasqueflower that doesn't know it isn't spring, and a Gaultheria which is the same
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I seem to have missed about 8 pages of this thread! Fab catching up though
Perki, you have a beautiful garden, amazing mix of colours...
Stunning landscape pics from Pat and love Verdun's grass, hosta and swan blend.
Welcome to the forum celadonsusan
So much to enjoy in this thread! Thought I would share with you a few photos taken today:
Spring is on its way!

Pat, I love the cheerfulness of spring and your pic has it
That's a lot of prunings !
Me too, Joyce. There's much more to go in the trailer yet, but my energy and the weather will decide how much gets done.
A few taken today
