Hi everyone. We've had the broadband technician here today making magic and I think we are now on broadband, we've got a new thing on the roof and another couple of plugs on the wall on Hubbys study, but it'll be worth it if we get better reception, etc.

Fairy, I agree with your sentiments about styles of gardens, but it bothers me sometimes that because I was sick last spring and summer, I let it all go to pot except for my veggie garden which I'm paranoid about.  I love my fresh veggies and Herbs. Besides, we are so dry here, that it's a massive undertaking to keep all the trees and shrubs going in summer, so we leave them to their own devices, mostly. image

Lupins are now on my list, I think  keep them in pots then I can move them where I need them.

I have been gardening all day just trying to catch up with everything.

  • Joybell I agree with Patsy Fimage

I'll echo the others Joybell - beautiful image

It is indeed amazing David. No matter what else goes on around is, nature just carries on doing it's thing. I watched a programme the other night about butterflies, and marvelled again at how they go from caterpillars to 'sludge' to those stunning creatures. We sort of take it for granted, yet it's such an incredible process.

Don't know how you deal with those fluctuations in temperatures! image

RB - lovely to have a chrysalis to watch. I'm very jealous .Hope you get see it 'hatch'.  image

Garden isn't too bad at all thanks. Lots to sort round the 'stension now to finish the back garden and organise the area down the side.  I've done quite a bit already, but work and hillwalks get in the way of gardening time   image
