I haven't sprinkled the grass, too much rain for that! That was on the 8th May. Just had another event, the charity Strawberry Tea for church, but was too busy to take photos, 44 for tea, sandwiches, scones, cake, strawberries.
Here is the garden in the wind after the rain this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lizzie, your garden looks so calm and peaceful, with a lovely balance between lawns and borders. That weeping tree (a conifer? Looks a bit triffid-like!) has got me intrigued.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Pat - what I like is seeing the different styles people have, as well as individual plants. For instance, I'm not a fan of the 'traditional cottage garden' for my own space, but I love looking at pix of BL's garden as it's a superb example of it, and I can admire and respect all the work and thought that's gone into achieving it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

B3 the hosta looks lovely and I want to sit in that chair and do nothing at all, but that's not going to happen any time soon.
Wonky Womble your garden is really coming on, it all takes time, basically a lifetime
but it's all good fun.
Gloves n Wellies I can smell the roses from here, heavenly.
Joy, if you'd sat there you'd have got very wet! I took it through the window.

Those gardens are spectacular. It makes me feel guilty for not getting out there and making an effort in my garden. Well done all.
