Shucks folks, thank you image There is a lot of fairy moss on the pond surface that I'm forever pulling out but also choc-a-block with tadpoles. You can see them scatter if I walk by.

Victoria - the marsh marigold you sent me is still in there but sadly gone to seed now, it looked gorgeous about a month ago image

Love your plantings Fishy and beautiful clematis Flowerlover 3 in lovely surroundings.

My Scottish surroundings are not blooming much yet but here's a little section of one of the small beds.  The Pieris 'Forest Flame' is in it's very pale early summer coat and I like it with the Heuchera which I think is 'Lime Marmalade' - although I may have the wrong name there.

The perfume on the Jasmines as they start flowering is beautiful.  The bees are all over the Ceonothus 'Concha' which is in full bloom.  After 2 hot days and beautiful blue skies today - the air smells of summer really on the way.

The air smells of gardens and lawns being mowed.  I hope the sun lasts - it's wonderful

Lovely photos! This is my first spring/early summer gardening so I'm a bit of a novice in a small garden but so far we have runner beans, dwarf French beans, rhubarb, pumpkins, tomatoes, salad leaves, chilli, strawberry, blueberry. We have a long way to go but some progress photos below.

Your little dog is after the limelight Dani26. I see you have got your priorities right - somewhere for you to relax and take in the view - perhaps having ideas of what else to add to the garden - so far everything looks lovely and well cared for - I love the packing crate herb bed - a novel idea that looks great.

He does,  as soon as the camera comes out he's front and centre! Yes we only have a small space and it's taken a while to get it to what it is now as it was left very overgrown by the previous owners so we purposely left it last year so as we could see what we have in there as we didn't want to completely remove everything as we know now that there were some lovely flowers beneath all the mess! Still a long way to go but I hope to continue enjoying it :)

Yarrow, The iris was planted in the autumn of 2014.  It didn't flower last year and I was disappointed but, as they say, patience is a virtue and it has really excelled itself this year by producing loads of flowers.  I bought it online from Kellways, they have a fabulous selection.  I was really careful about where I planted it and followed their instructions to the letter, it's really paid off.

That's the best way to go about gardening Dani - take your time and enjoy the space. You have a good mixture of edible and decorative plants there and all the better that you have "found" some little treasures that probably died down last winter and have now surprised you as they come into the new season's growth.
