  • I think that's a good idea Perki, I often find I've forgotten to sow something and then it's too late. I might spend some time organising mine like that.image

I am full of admiration and envy at your methods Perki. I never was very organised. My efforts at keeping the seeds in sets according to when they should be planted ended when the box got so full that no more would fit in it!

Victoria, I am exactly the same over bargains, and I always think of people I could give the extra plants to, even if they live hundreds of miles away. This is a problem because I don't travel, and I am too far from the post office for it to be practical to do much posting. So they stay with me in bigger and bigger pots, and in the end get planted.

Thought I might try the seeds lurking loose in the bottom of my seed tin and see what develops

B3, that sounds like a great idea. I have a packet of seed-size collection that I harvested off various plants last autumn. They were all set out in a chocolate box, separated in the plastic tray, until one of the cats image climbed up onto the high shelf and knocked the whole lot down onto the floor. The lid didn't come off, but they all got hopelessly mixed up. It'll be a great "name that plant" game for later in the year! image
