  • Top of the list has to be osteospermum (jucundum compactum). This has been somewhat neglected in a semi shady spot but has bloomed constantly through the summer and is still flowering in abundance. Superb plant and have taken plenty of cuttings in the hope that they will come on too.

  • Hi Verdun, no problem, got the message!

Hoping the cutting do take, tried some with and others without rooting gel and am awaiting the results! Also just popped some in water to see if they would take. Do you have any additional tips? Do you remove most of the leaves for instance or only the bottom few sets? And do you let them stay in a drop of water or have them free - draining?

    Thanks!

At the moment the rain is the star of my garden, watering it all. Pouring for 2 days.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
