I'm hoping the Salvia will make it through the winter as I've planted it deeply and will mulch it (and the climate in Bristol is fairly mild I hope?) For a pound it's worth the experiment... I may try and take a stem cutting to overwinter as insurance though. (Hopefully as I've planted it deeply some of the buried stems will take root?)
