Ah, it is a lobelia - lovely. I've been looking into them since I found one in the garden. I've not heard of Tanya. I wondered if it was Hadspen purple but I see now they're different colours.
Hi BM - When it's finished I stop watering and let the stems drop off, then just brush off most of the compost and leave the corm somewhere in the shed - but I always seem to remember where. Then when I see new buds forming in the spring I pot it up and put it in my frost-free g/house

Hadspen purple is in that border but not in that picture.......greener foliage and darker flowers when compared to Tanya. Got Hadspen in front of helenium double trouble and aconitum stainless steel. Will post a picture if I get round to it
Yes, please do if you get a chance. I don't know that aconitum but I'd love to see the yellow and purple together.

Wow, what Giants! I don't think I've ever seen a dahlia that size..
That grass looks very nice with the verbena too.
Verdun, what is the cerise plant behind what I think is salvia amistad?
It's at roughly 2 o'clock on the pic...

Verdum your border is fabulous, you are a true plants man, are you on tv?
Lovely lily bubba ray, reminds me to pick the last of mine before it drops so the house will smell bit nicer for a couple of days
