I see so many beautiful plants on this thread and am able to add to my ever expanding ' must get' list! Although my garden is still relatively new (planted up May this year) I am pleased with the way some of my 'little ones' are coming along and it is so lovely to look out into a colour packed border now.
One of my two foxgloves which I grew from seed in June! Out of a packet of 50, only 2 made it, but I was so chuffed I danced around the garden . According to the packet it isn't supposed to be flowering yet though
artjak, I have one of those Heuchera's in my border which was kindly given to be by a neighbour. I have to admit though, I am now tempted to dig it up and put it in a pot like yours, it looks lovely. Your penstemon looks very pretty, I have two in my border but not sure which ones they are as they were without labels in a local nursery
MrsT, I have several Heucheras on the rock garden where they are in semi-shade, which they seem to love. When I had one in a sunny flower bed it always looked a bit tired
I wouldn't mind some salvia seeds please, fidgetbones. I seem to have salvia garden at the moment, but they're nice. When I say garden, it's paved and only a couple of borders. I have got hotlips and nemerosa and a pink one. How do I get seeds from them as I would like a couple more of the dark pink that I only got late on this year, and not enough to take cuttings I don't think.

If anyone wants seed off that salvia patens, let me know. The over wintered ones have produced plenty of seed.
