I too was haverin about a Summer house until I realised I was spending more time planning the storage bit at the back. My mum thinks they look like "a bun down the garden" but she has no soul. This is no help at all but it only cost me tuppence!
we've got a conservatory ( you can see it in my avatar) . We've lived here 4 years and have only sat in it once, even though we had a suite of furniture made in India and shipped over.

I think if you make it attractive - you'd make use of it. It's whether you can justify the space or not. That's probably the biggest factor.

Thanks, we like it. any holes in the roof are down to woodpecker activity. They're cedar shingles, formerly on the house roof
