    Ooo nice.  I was thinking of one on a raised platform. Yours is really pretty Lily1, great colour.

    I think if you make it attractive - you'd make use of it. It's whether you can justify the space or not. That's probably the biggest factor. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • I too was haverin about a Summer house until I realised I was spending more time planning the storage bit at the back.image My mum thinks they look like "a bun down the garden" but she has no soul. image This is no help at all but it only cost me tuppence! image

    we've got a conservatory ( you can see it in my avatar) . We've lived here 4 years and have only sat in it once, even though we had a suite of furniture made in India and shipped over. image

    Thanks, we like it. any holes in the roof are down to woodpecker activity. They're cedar shingles, formerly on the house roofimage

  • I would love a summerhouse. Have been thinking about it for a couple of years now.

    Great place to sit and read or as Pdoc says drinks on a chilly summer evening.
