Let's hasten the winter! What are you looking forward to flowering in spring?

ok, the worst of winter to come but what perennial are you looking forward to seeing flowering in spring.  Excluding hellebores and other late winter stuff.  Those that flower when spring is well and truly established and we have had a few weeks of sunshine.

dicentras, astilbes, euphorbia polychroma and anchusa for me to start you off ....(ssssh! I'm really looking for another plant or two so imagination please folks image

  • Trollius alabaster and golden queen as they're both new this year and have hopefully settled in...think they flower in spring like the yellow one...

    Also hoping geranium tuberosum reappears, haven't seen it since I planted it this summerimage

  • Iris Alida and Purple Gem, Snakeshead frittilary, Alliums I was looking forward to Primula Millers Crimson but I had a look yesterday and out of seven plants I have about three leaves left, the slugs have had a feast, does anyone know if they have a chance of recovery?

  • I'm really looking forward to seeing my new native daffodils (Narcissus pseudonarcissus)  and the Rip van Winkle daffodils that I planted in September - they always remind me of the vegetable garden at the farm where I grew up. image

  • Japanese plum 'Lizzie' - every bit of every twig gets absolutely smothered in flowers very early and still manages to set fruit if frosted. image
