I think since Hosta has a ride on mower, Mr Trumpet would be high on the list for mowing.

I cut my grass last Sunday (after googling if it is ok to mow the grass in December) and the lawn now looks neat and tidy for Christmas image

Thanx Sammymummy, I'm not alone!!  Reading all these replies I feel mega-blessed that I checked out the lawn last Weds and was able to get it cut.  I am a much happier person for having done so.  It doesn't take much.  Now I wonder if I can cut it again Christmas Day??!!  That would really float my boat.

  • Oops, 'float my boat' probably not the best ending for my message, considering.

  • Verdun - I do believe you're mocking the land of song - and here's us keeping a welcome in the hillside for you - there's gratitude.  We're not beyond whacking someone under the ear with a bunch of leeks you know, and I won't tell you where we're able to stick our daffodils, but it'll make your eyes water.  image

15C and dry here today.  If it's dry tomorrow I shall cut our grass as it's growing well at the mo but first of all, OH needs to clear the pile of prunings I left on it last week...........

Don't want any sheep as they'd eat my treasures too, unless they were like Stanley and his mate in another thread.
