Anyone else still mowing??

I mowed my lawn this week, Wednesday 9th December.  That is definitely a first, mowing the grass in December.  So OK it's only 12' sq and I'm lucky the wind dried out the grass so I could mow it, but it's still a memorable moment in my gardening year 2015.  I'm in Huddersfield, West Yorks, so not on the south coast or anywhere terribly temperate, just Huddersfield, and I mowed the lawn 3 days ago.  Well I'm impressed even if nobody else is.  What have you been doing in your gardens this week??

Mine needs a mow but far to wet. It's gonna up round my waist by spring!

  • Haven't cut ours for weeks now, far too wet. Could do with a trim, but won't be able to cut it till the spring now. Gets too boggy in the winter.

Himself did ours 2 weeks ago "for the last time this season" - I think he may have to review that statement in the days before Christmas, for the front at least...
