Anyone else still mowing??
in Talkback
I mowed my lawn this week, Wednesday 9th December. That is definitely a first, mowing the grass in December. So OK it's only 12' sq and I'm lucky the wind dried out the grass so I could mow it, but it's still a memorable moment in my gardening year 2015. I'm in Huddersfield, West Yorks, so not on the south coast or anywhere terribly temperate, just Huddersfield, and I mowed the lawn 3 days ago. Well I'm impressed even if nobody else is. What have you been doing in your gardens this week??

Mine needs mowing but it's too wet.
It's long enough but mowing in mid-winter is against the law
In the sticks near Peterborough
Ours needs cutting desperately..but its been so blasted wet
Mine needs a mow but far to wet. It's gonna up round my waist by spring!
Haven't cut ours for weeks now, far too wet. Could do with a trim, but won't be able to cut it till the spring now. Gets too boggy in the winter.
Himself did ours 2 weeks ago "for the last time this season" - I think he may have to review that statement in the days before Christmas, for the front at least...
I'm with others. Deffo needs cutting but totally waterlogged.
Needs a cut badly but far too wet in the north east cannot even walk on it at the moment
