    10 weeks! image

    That is a long time pansyface. On the plus side, it gets you out of any C*******s shopping image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    No xmas shopping for me either. I transfer money into the bank accounts of my daughters and that's it.

    OH said the other day " if you wanted to buy me something for christmas, you could get me xyz"

    " I don't want to buy you a present, get it yourself"

    it arrived this morning. 

    Methinks he's eventually got the message.

    That's the way to do it.

    Then one can go out in the January sales and buy what one wants for oneself.

    I can't be bothered with C*******s now Hosta.  Girls usually want money so it's pretty easy. I do a stocking for them though. No OH to bother about either and we don't do presents among other family members.  Daughter helps with getting the foodin. I may just have Quality Street for dinner if the girls are at their Dad's.  I have done that before ....image

    Perhaps you could send me a jigsaw to keep me out of mischief pansyface image

    when we went to Goa. We'd take a coolbag with leftover chicken tikka biryani and kingfisher beer and have it on the beach for christmas lunch
