Pansy - ouch!!! It must be the time of year - it was last autumn I fell flat on my face and broke my wrist wasn't it? Duh! What are we like - a good job alcohol is such a good anasthetic

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I nearly went a*se over t*t yesterday in town - lots of semi disintegrated, wet and very slippery leaves on a patch of sloping pavement close to old folks sheltered housing. Looked like they'd been there a while & were not going to get swept up anytime soon. Hope nobody ends up with a fractured hip / skull
My gardening gets very slovenly at this time of year. Every year I promise to 'get out there' and have a 'good tidy up' before everything looks tooooo messy. Every year I retreat to the sofa and fire. I will get around to taking out the summer bedding before next spring...
Have gathered & stored a lot of leaves this year tho'
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

'I tripped over an art student on the sofa, but I didn't spill the Bordeaux'

Hope you're better before you finish the puzzle Pansy
I like a good jigsaw...perhaps I need to fall on my a*** a bit more...or is that tempting fate?
Anyway - I'm not an old lush like pansyface and Dove, always p***ed and falling over. I don't know...these youngsters with their Jagerbombs....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
