Miniature flowers or miniature bushes Rainbow? I like small flowers but small bushes disappear under weedsimage

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • They have miniature flowers (different shades of pink to white) on small bushes. Mine have reached just under 2ft in 1 year. They also have a light scent, teeny hips and mine seem to have quite good autumn colour (but I might just be mstreating them)

Great for wildlife. The hoverflies love them. I have never seen so many different species.

    Told ya so image

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • They have flowered from spring and are still going. I haven't deadheaded since the begging of august and they are still sending out new buds. They appear reasonably resistant to blackspot. Both my flower carpet rose standards have blackspot but these appear fine. I don't know about pruning.

They remind me of cherry blossom. The flowers are very small and most of mine are the same shade of pink.  It is meant to be possible to get double/semi double flowers but mine are all single.

Lyn, the cursor now moves down and to the left so I don't have to move it.
