Plant pauper I put a few climbing snapdragon seeds in the ones I sent for you to try, maybe that could trail instead of climb?very pretty purple flowers, proved hardy here last year so worth a try the foliage is turning purple now on mine, not evergreen though, and depends how high your wall is it climbs to 8ft.

EEEEEE I'm a bit excited kathy. It's not very high but they could trail about the place. I've plenty of climby places as well that they might like.

    Thanks Kathy. x

  • I've just brought 5 perennial lobelia named " Tanias Sister ". They are a stunning upright plant that reaches approx. 1m in height with dark green leaves with a beautiful magenta pink flower in middle to late summer

They are  will worth purchasing and planting in your garden and look good set behind Rubelkia Goldstrum

You are right Verdun, I never thought of that, anemones flower quite late don't they, there will be a bare space until they get going, I think all in the same border, but spread out with other things between.

Plant Paupers wall, what are those daisy like plants that spread all over the walls in Cornwall, agyranthimums is it?

Hosta got some nice ones in the front garden.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

ooo good idea Lyn. I have a couple of the frutescens in another part of the garden. They're not particularly spready but there might be other varieties which are. I love daisy-like things.
