wonderful creatures not too keen on the poss invasion of the asian Hornet though as its favourite meal is honey bee its now a real pest in europe and the channel is our only defence. hopefully it wont get here as our poor bees are under enough pressure.
Ah, my daughter lived in Hadleigh for a while some years ago - a very pretty area.
I grew up in a tiny village near Debenham and while my children were growing up we lived in a village between Framlingham and Halesworth. Ma lives at Southwold, brother farms near Woodbridge, daughter now lives in Ipswich and son lives near Snape. I love Suffolk
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Ooooh, pansyface, that's lovely. I'm sure it was our hottest day of the year in Thursday (I heard a chiffchaff singing!) then it was downhill all the way. I doubt we're going to get enough sun now to bring out the sunflowers.
Talking of bees i have some orchids that grow wild in the lawn beautiful but this year a rabbit decided the flowers needed removing so pics are from a couple of years back

I have just noticed flying ants emerging in my garden. The weather is exceptionally warm for October, but this seems ridiculously late for them!
I am situated near Hadleigh in a blink and you miss it village nice and quiet though
