Which bit of Suffolk are you in?

  • I have just noticed flying ants emerging in my garden. The weather is exceptionally warm for October, but this seems ridiculously late for them!

  • I am situated near Hadleigh in a blink and you miss it village nice and quiet thoughimage

Ah, my daughter lived in Hadleigh for a while some years ago - a very pretty area.

I grew up in a tiny village near Debenham and while my children were growing up we lived in a village between Framlingham and Halesworth.  Ma lives at Southwold, brother farms near Woodbridge, daughter now lives in Ipswich and son lives near Snape.  I love Suffolk image

Ooooh, pansyface, that's lovely. I'm sure it was our hottest day of the year in Thursday (I heard a chiffchaff singing!) then it was downhill all the way. I doubt we're going to get enough sun now to bring out the sunflowers. image
