  • I think its absolutely disgusting that you people are prepared to kill cats just for the sake of it sitting on your flower beds or going to the toilet in your precious mud!!! Unlike dogs who crap everywhere but thats perfectly ok.... jeys fluid is extremely toxic to cats and can cause severe liver damage even death!!!! This is someones pet... whos likely to be part of the family and highly loved and your prepared to kill them over a damn flower ???

turnersharon it's all a matter of perspective. I love flowers but I don't love cat crap. Hopefully you don't expect other people to actually love the rear end of your cat, do you? Toxocara cati and toxoplasmosis are both highly toxic to humans, so it's more than just, as you would put it, damn flowers. I think it's really important to respect the views of other people and not expect them to willingly pick up the blight that is your cat's crap, at their own risk. Keep your cat inside or under control, rather than expecting other ppl to look out for it's welfare.

Well, that's nice and friendly for a first post!  Great entrance.

Jeyes fluid is highly toxic to all sorts of beneficial wildlife and micro-organisms in the garden and there are better ways to deter cats.

  • I am having the same cat toilet problem as everyone else.
As I am not allowed to use jeys fluid as it may upset people .
I have decided that i will remove the cat crap and put it on the owner's door step.
If this does not work then i will start taking a dump on their garden and see how they like it.

Another pleasant first-ever posting on the forum. If you had something nice to say you’d be welcome. As you don’t - you’re not.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

  • Odd too to make your first posting on an old thread...

  • Hi. I have been researching how to stop cats pooping in my front garden and came across this thread. Will this method kill plants? The cats are 💩 right where I am digging over ready to put plants in and I don't want to contaminate the soil.
