Fascinating chat folks. I think your show must be similar to our 'Dancing with the Stars' which I don't watch nowadays, for similar reasons that you all mention. The judges give me the irrits. Interesting to watch the contestants start to catch on, though.
Sorry KEF" DAVID not hard to get just circling like a white shark round Ausie skinny dippers, I appear when hungry.
last year my vote was with Caroline from day one, she was not universally liked and did go into the dance off coming back to win. That is what I look for the will to win you do not need be popular say's he who has been there. The dance with Pasha Saturday was not up to last years standard, Caroline was short of practice Pasha thinking of his nubile number cruncher, nice but not perfect. We will wait for the time they have to produce the goods.
I used to work in the office of Wilkins Servis Washing Machines and this was the Christmas Party for all staff (including the factory staff who worked a level below us office workers who were upstairs). My boss asked me why I always had bruises all over my arms etc so when I told him I learned " acrobatic ballet" in my spare time, he asked me and my dance partner to give a performace at the Christmas Party.
Funny how coincidences happen. I was only recently thinking about out teacher who was from Budapest. Poor man, he bemoaned the fact that he could never go back to his country(because of the war). I was vividly reminded by the current happenings around the world and the jokey comments about the handsome police in Budapest. Mixed emotions there, for me.

I can't resist the temptation to show you a couple of photos from my youth, these were me in 1959!
The second one didn't fit. I can just imagine me trying that now, at 75!

Pat.....you may find this clip of 'Strictly' of some interest: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv9G4Mv1z40
David........I didn't want Caroline to win either
Pat, lovely memories, fun times. Can your OH dance too.
Now there's a surprise, Lily.
She was good, but was (unlike Frankie) already a trained dancer before joining the show.
