Don't think it's anything to do with not being like come dancing.
It's because we like to see the contestants improve week by week. I too prefer to watch someone progress with each dance, Susan for instance has done really well, she works so hard and has improved so much since week one. I really enjoy watching her. So has Davood, Joe and Mollie.
This was meant to be a fun thread. I don't want people falling out over a TV show.
I like to see effort rewarded by progress too and recognise that,a s with many things in life, some people catch on faster to dance structure and musical rhythms. I don't think it matters whether or not people have done a bit of dancing in drama class before. Those who complain it's hard or moan about going back to square one every Monday with a new dance should just go quietly. It's part of the show and the same for everyone.
I've been very impressed with how fit and agile Debbie is and how well she has mastered and performed all but two of her dances. However, I don't care for her or Giovanni and hope they don't win. Susan is a revelation and an inspiration to anyone who thinks you have to fit and nubile to dance. She's great but unlikely to win. Mollie is such a wuss she's irritating.
I am warming to Alexandra who is clearly doing her best to master every dance and loving it and Gorka is a very good choreographer and likable. Joe and Daewood are also working hard and Gemma has clearly overcome her problems with lifts and is a joy to watch. Happy for any of these to win.

Lain I respect your views and so will many of the millions who watch the Strictly programme. Those we favour and those we do not like probably even out should you take a poll, it was proved when the GBP did not vote to keep Aston in though reading other twittering boards he got up some peoples noses.
It comes down to a Saturday entertainment and little else sit back relax and let the dross drift over you until you sink into the arms of that lovely Naafi girl you danced with all those years ago, in your dreams.
You cannot please all the people all the time though the odd dance such as Alexander and Gemma Saturday did make me sit up in bed as I watched, it nearly cured my infection as I was up and about Sunday. Bless em all I say for having the guts to do it though the money probably helps.
DHR, I found an even better way Saturday, tied to my bed they brought me the iPad, when I could not watch the programme and realising my other device was the one logged into BBC I waited until the end then went on to the site and got the Video Clips, the full dance and only the dance in full for each contestant even watching a couple twice it only took about 18 minutes, wonderful.
SGL- don't worry we are not falling out just expressing our views. Though a dedicated non smoker I am happy to puff the virtual pipe of peace if that helps.
Lain One thing we definitely agree on, I never smoked in my life. Saying that !!! I happily sold my 100 free issue at a profit when all the smokers had run out. Hate those Vapour things people even smoke in Restaurants, not nice.

My 2 favourites are Gemma & Debbie , young & not so young
Personally not bothered who wins , after all it is just a TV ? show
Exactly for a lot of people that is the essence of the show. Chris Hollins springs to mind.
